The eight key components of Christian Community Development (CCD) make up a ministry philosophy birthed out of decades of work to address systemic poverty and injustice from within communities that have been marginalized. Out of the life and work of John Perkins and thousands of people who have followed his call, these principles shape how DurhamCares approaches mobilizing churches and all Durham residents to love their neighbors in holistic ways.
