Weekend of February 8-9: Worship and Mass Incarceration

Congregations are invited to remember those impacted by mass incarceration and incorporate themes of mass incarceration in worship.
Wednesday, February 12th: Solitary Confinement Exhibit, Prayer Vigil, and March to Durham County Jail

At 5pm, join us for End Solitary NC’s Exhibit. At 6pmwe will hold a prayer vigil and then march to Durham County Detention Center. The exhibit and vigil will be held at Duke Memorial before the march begins.
Friday, February 14th, 10am: Reflections on Mass Incarceration Panel, Fellowship and Collaboration

Join us for a panel discussion about mass incarceration that will include Reverend Dr. Dewey Williams, Reverend Dr. Louis Threatt and others that are involved in the fight for justice. Also, join neighbors to celebrate our common humanity and the victories we have made as we envision our future work together. There will be light refreshments served.
